Seat All® Tailbone – inflatable coccyx pressure relief cushion

Seat All® Tailbone – inflatable coccyx pressure relief cushion for one patient

Seat All® Tailbone is a single-patient inflatable seat cushion designed for people who spend long hours sitting and need relief around the coccyx, sacrum and anal area. Its two air chambers and central anatomical cut-out reduce direct pressure on the tailbone while maintaining stable support under the buttocks and thighs. The soft PE nonwoven surface helps wick moisture and heat away from the skin, supporting comfort in home care, hospital care and wheelchair use.

Mobilex distributes Levabo pressure-relief products in Poland from Łódź, providing product documentation and selection support for private users, caregivers and healthcare providers.

For people whose tailbone area is exposed to prolonged pressure during seated activities.

2. Home-care users with coccyx sensitivity

Sizes, fit and positioning

Model Dimensions Use mode Typical application
Seat All® Tailbone 42 × 42 × 5 cm Single-patient, up to 8 weeks Coccyx / anal area relief in chair or wheelchair
MP Seat All® Tailbone 42 × 42 × 5 cm Multi-patient after disinfection Institutional reuse in hospitals and care homes

Fitting rule: the product should remain soft and flexible after inflation. The pressure-relieved body area must be lifted or supported without hard compression, strap marks or localised pressure. Skin condition, device position and air volume should be checked daily according to the care plan.

Setup and safety instructions

  1. Unfold the cushion and place it on a flat surface with the valve accessible.
  2. Insert the supplied blue adapter into the self-closing valve and connect the blowpipe or pump.
  3. Inflate slowly until the Stop Up® band breaks, then remove the adapter.
  4. Close the valve completely and attach the protective valve cover if supplied.
  5. Place the cushion on the seat with the central cut-out positioned under the coccyx/anal area.
  6. Seat the user and check that the body is lifted approximately 25 mm above the base.
  7. Check air volume and skin condition daily; adjust air if the cushion loses volume.

Important safety information: do not overinflate. A hard air cushion does not provide optimal pressure relief and may create unwanted pressure on the limb or soft tissue. Do not use steam cleaning, autoclaves, caustic chemicals, abrasive pads or sharp tools. Replace the product if it loses air, the outer layer is damaged or the fixing system no longer holds securely.

Medical device notice: this is a medical device. Use it according to the instructions for use, the product label and local clinical procedures.
